Am I crazy or does the math not add up here? He said the emperor didn't get his reign legit, but how would he have done the ceremony even with a fake ring? The previous emperor would still have to hand it to him in front of witnesses. Continuing on from that, Oscar looks to be the same age as Ceasar, so are they implying the previous emperor secretly handed the ring to a toddler and then did a fake ceremony for the current emperor? Even if we say all that doesn't matter, why would they believe this nonsense over just assuming they stole the ring and beheading them on the spot?

The author randomly just pulled this out to extend a story cause its popular. We've never heard of this ring and what importance is it anyways? Still civil wars for petty things happens in the real world and I wouldn't be surprised that to protect oscar the previous king hid his much younger child... or the mother of child stole it

I'm so done with love triangles man. Literally nothing good about them. Either you're annoyed that some dude is getting in the way or you're pissed he didn't win. This is doubly bad because it's a corpse coming back to ruin an unrelated person's life for their own sake. Too bad Hades didn't kill him so they can go to the afterworld together.

Yeah, I said it. There's different types of strength. Being feminine doesn't mean you can't be strong. She's standing up to the king so she can help people, and heading out in to a warzone because even after all that trauma, she's willing to place her trust in Lavane despite her doubts. I'd consider that to be strength. It's ok not to thirst for power and vengeance.
If memory serves this is the fucker that almost chocked her to death before, and here he is calling it a "prank". He was just as bad as the dad. She has no reason to go to abuser #2 for help from #1.
