heeyyyy sso ch.17, part of the mini arc to get rid of that ugly manager guy, basically began the subplot in where the FL was using her future knowledge to predict someone from their company would end up in danger after expanding to the middle east, and was basically banking on the fact that "religious terrorists" would take the nameless, never again mentioned employee hostage. this is bad because it is the one and only mention of the middle east and islam in the whole story, further painting an islamaphobic narrative that exist in the backdrop of places like the west and east asia ^^

the beginning was so outlandish that i was gonna drop it but I'm glad i stuck with it. it was surprisingly good in that the stakes were resonable, and the characters were likable too. i enjoyed this a lot im glad they had a happy ending, even in the modern world (づ￣ ³￣)づ
and the side couples were sweet too, esp his sister and the princess. i need more recs that have wlw couples
