Its in dire need of side stories, but i dont think the ending is complete trash. It was heavily implied how possessive the ML really is, and YOU GET TO KNOW, that he bound the MC in the middle of the story. You get to see all the things he did to make him stay. I was not expecting anything else from him lol. Yes, its quite unfortunate that MC didnt get to know, and the ending (epilogue) was bruh, but i would bet the author was going for the “open ending after a big twist” which was not delivered quite right but it was there, i guess. Tbh there is not much what MC could do, he might have been angry and made some ground for groveling, but the ML would fold immediately lol. And who and what else does the MC have in that world? No one, he would fold too after a bit. Because without ML HE WOULD BE COMPLETELY ALONE AND ISOLATED. yeah that’s basically the gist of what im feeling rn. The ending was not quite satisfactory but it was not horrid. I WANT THAT SIDE STORIES THO, i saw comment saying there is more in the novel, and i bet they would slau

1-22 = volume 1
23-42= volume 2
43-48= volume 3
48- volume 3 part 8
So if you want to read from the last chapter forward start on part 8, just to get into the novel feeling. Part 9 is the next chapter i think (i read ch 49 already with the Malaysian translation cause i couldnt help it xdd so its a bit of a mess in my head rn). The manhwa didnt change much so if you are as inpatient as me lol you wont miss that much if you start reading there, beside some insides into some characters head .
