Its in dire need of side stories, but i dont think the ending is complete trash. It was heavily implied how possessive the ML really is, and YOU GET TO KNOW, that he bound the MC in the middle of the story. You get to see all the things he did to make him stay. I was not expecting anything else from him lol. Yes, its quite unfortunate that MC didnt get to know, and the ending (epilogue) was bruh, but i would bet the author was going for the “open ending after a big twist” which was not delivered quite right but it was there, i guess. Tbh there is not much what MC could do, he might have been angry and made some ground for groveling, but the ML would fold immediately lol. And who and what else does the MC have in that world? No one, he would fold too after a bit. Because without ML HE WOULD BE COMPLETELY ALONE AND ISOLATED. yeah that’s basically the gist of what im feeling rn.
