Art is pretty but plot and character depth are DEFINITELY lacking…No real story building/ character development to where this story makes a lasting impression. Everything is surface level from the gang and its motives, the relationship between the main characters, their backstories, etc…There’s no substance that makes this writing stand out and the author doesn’t explore much of the characters dialogue/perspective/ feelings in-depth… Everything was just kinda thrown at us without any explanation making everything seem rushed…. I was really expecting more because of the high ratings, but if you’re looking for something to just read this is at least tolerable and has decent art

Tbh I don’t even mind the slow burn with this because the world building and plot is so interesting and attention grabbing…the smut everyone is looking for doesn’t even fit in with the story as of now, not saying it won’t eventually get there. I really like this story, it’s a cool fantasy that has B.L in it, not a B.L set in fantasy. It’s the best of both worlds (▰˘◡˘▰)
