So my theory is; the seme is in an undercover mission, that requires him to lie or else he’ll be in danger since he’s in that kind of field ykyk, with the illegal businesses and stuff, because he was so in love with the uke before, was a literal innocent dog to him and now he’s become a despicable liar..Since they were popular in the police force, they probably got this mission and I’m guessing the seme got to know about it first and realize the uke will be in danger if he became apart of it, so he rather just do it himself...they both still seem to be in love with each other.. This is just a theory I might be wrong, I dunno... but in chapter 9 it talks about the God of Death was in love with the God of Moon and all humans hail them, but there was this jealous human who didn’t approve of it and killed the God of Moon(?) That jealous human became a vampire (which I’m assuming it’s that white haired vampire since he is a pure blood and is one of the oldest vampire) and the God of Death curse the humans saying that there will be a man of Moon and a man of Death, once they become one he will return, remove the curse and take back the man of Moon. I’m basically just summing it up so it’s not a theory... but I still might be wrong ahah, hope this helps
