Ah I generally don't comment about other people's opinions but I have to say this, I don't think the seme deserves the hate. He is a perfectly good seme, he's nice and he's doting as we possesive, but nothing over the top where it gets bad. Also he didn't just blackmail maki like, let's fuck or let me fuck you like how the other manga goes, he just asked him out. That aside about chapter 3, he didn't say anything like I don't want the girl role or whatever, he just said which he cleared out later that he just gets turned on most by seeing maki like this when he does that. Honestly that has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with toxic masculinity, like seriously guys. He even went ahead and said if he would have persisted to it, he would have let him, and that's a huge thing to say. He didn't even flat out reject the idea at first. It's a completely nice read, it's not dramatic or angsty or some shady dude trying to out you. So just enjoy the read. If you actually re-read it you'll see it too.
