I think because MD really did end up caring for Chanwoo as more than just play buddies. He was so upset last chapter that he safe worded himself out of their play. He hasn't contacted him either so I think he's taking it kinda hard and in my opinion would have a hard time separating his feelings. It's been so long since we were introduced to MD but I think he keeps his identity under wraps just like Alex did.
