They quite literally mutilated her. They cut her body up into small little pieces, through her flesh, bone and head, and all. They scattered her remains all throughout the forest, even behind the water fall. The only reason they were able to identify her was because her disappearance, knights, carriage, and more specifically, the treasured emerald brooch Jeremy had gifted her as a symbol of her eyes. She was beyond unrecognizable. Even her face couldn't be told apart, thus they couldn't even hold a proper funeral for her.
