I agree. Navier was raised to become an empress. I don’t think love lessons were part of her curriculum. I would like to argue a little tho that since Rashta has appeared and she’s seen how Sovieshu has interacted with her, I think she’s come to realize a little why she’s feeling what she feels. The thing is, at this point, I’m pretty sure the emperor is only infatuated with Rashta because of her reactions to his actions. Navier never gave him those reactions so he just assumes that she doesn’t love him. But if you think about it logically, it’s almost impossible not to fall in love after spending their whole life so far together. Even if she doesn’t love him, she does care for him.
I would also like to add that I’m sick and tired of his bullshit excuse of driving away her suitors. He keeps telling her to think about her image, but he’s the one ruining hers and his with his constant and blatant rule breaking regarding Rashta.
