this is such a stellar read ??? like the intimacy between them is so romantic and sweet. like I love the domesticity of it so much. the subtly in their comments show how they’re becoming more frustrated with the just friends thing and im eatingggg it up. ITS SOOO CUTE I AM SO JEALOUS ugjhghyg
Also 10 out of 10 fashion skills from the male lead, her outfits always serve

I read the entire thing in one sitting and have been giggling and kicking my feet because of mf drawings for literally the past hour. It was so cute so adorable so delicious. I am literally at a loss for words sitting here squeaking at fake people falling in love at my grown age. IDC like it was sooooo GUVHYFCVTRSEB I want what they have
It hasn't updated in a while but the cliffhanger is not bad at all so I would recommend it. I just want moreeeee

Honestly I'm a firm believer in the concept that you can't compete with dead exes. But the storyline feels so sad to me because like she loves him in another timeline and he's still alive technically and they even had a kid. its just messy and makes me feel bad for her. bc for her to fr fr move on with the mL she needs to get closure and idc how its gonna play out.
like I see how she's gradually falling for lutenient pocket full of sunshine (bc duh he's a silly himbo who likes her) but the angst is low-key crazy and im fr sat here w my feelings twisted over some drawings on a screen

I don’t understand how some of y'all are mad that the ML had relationships before they were married?? he was forced into an engagement he didn't want with a person who (he admitted to knowing) visibly hated him. she wanted nothing to do w him at all and has been scheming behind his back to get him to cheat on her.
like I get its scumy, but when they got married he shaped up for ethics sake.
and also by that logic, the FL's entire second life was cheating. I think that objectively, neither are bad people. I think that they’re in a trash situation and the author reallllyyyyy dialed up the angst.
I also think that they’re a really good balance and are good for each other.
Ines needs someone that will take care of her and keep her safe without getting into harms way in the process and Carcel does that for her. I think he has the kind of personality that can support her with out crumbling and she can just chill and get taken care of.

Agreed. I actually feel sorry for him. While I usually hate cheaters and cheating plots (I actually avoid them like the plague), in this case each had their reasons and in a very twisted way, their reasons are valid. I think the only thing that bothers me now is that he's head over heels in love with her, while she's still in love with someone else.. not sure how this will play out

same here, I actually caved and looked up spoilers and its actually crazy AND SAME I HATE CHEATING SMMM I have dropped shows bc of it. like I tried watching Anna karenina like 3 separate times but couldn't bc of the cheating. I can't forgive it or excuse it its so nasty. that's why im so confused with people calling the ML a cheater, bc if he fr cheated when they were officially together, I wouldn't even be reading it lol

y'all I have kept my mouth shut for months about this mf comic and I cannot. the leads are both SO dumb the only person who's redeemable is the butler. like home girl is her own opp I can't. like all the issues is because they’re both too dumb to communicate and when they finally do, ITS SO SILLY. like please I hate them both
if the leads could communicate at a 5th grade level this would have capped around chapter 35
idk if its because I am a slow burn vet (lookin at you skip beat) but 77 chapters is not too crazy for where its at rn.
I've also read pretty far ahead in the novel, so trust me when I tell y'all it is absolutely worth the wait.
But be warned it is he legit slow burn and it is super angsty. But that's the author style I guess.
Personally I'm still a fan even though I have a bunch of qualms with the characters but from an objective standpoint I guess it's pretty realistic and you can have pretty deep discussions about it. I think the author is really good at portraying the concept of while you can't love someone too much you can love them incorrectly and there is a lot of character growth from both of the leads as the story goes on.
It worth the wait but I don’t think the manga gives the novel justice
