Honestly I'm a firm believer in the concept that you can't compete with dead exes. But the storyline feels so sad to me because like she loves him in another timeline and he's still alive technically and they even had a kid. its just messy and makes me feel bad for her. bc for her to fr fr move on with the mL she needs to get closure and idc how its gonna play out.
like I see how she's gradually falling for lutenient pocket full of sunshine (bc duh he's a silly himbo who likes her) but the angst is low-key crazy and im fr sat here w my feelings twisted over some drawings on a screen
I don’t understand how some of y'all are mad that the ML had relationships before they were married?? he was forced into an engagement he didn't want with a person who (he admitted to knowing) visibly hated him. she wanted nothing to do w him at all and has been scheming behind his back to get him to cheat on her.

Agreed. I actually feel sorry for him. While I usually hate cheaters and cheating plots (I actually avoid them like the plague), in this case each had their reasons and in a very twisted way, their reasons are valid. I think the only thing that bothers me now is that he's head over heels in love with her, while she's still in love with someone else.. not sure how this will play out
same here, I actually caved and looked up spoilers and its actually crazy AND SAME I HATE CHEATING SMMM I have dropped shows bc of it. like I tried watching Anna karenina like 3 separate times but couldn't bc of the cheating. I can't forgive it or excuse it its so nasty. that's why im so confused with people calling the ML a cheater, bc if he fr cheated when they were officially together, I wouldn't even be reading it lol

if the leads could communicate at a 5th grade level this would have capped around chapter 35
I know this man is the male lead already (mf yall for spoiling but what ever) but the dynamic is low-key so interesting. like they clearly both don’t like each other and at the same time no body else likes them so its a match made in hell and im kinda with it. also the fact that its totally gonna be drawn out slow burn is really good for my skin

home girl has been simping for him since day one, giving him special treatment and then excusing it with "oh its just cus hes cute xx" she blushes when he looks at her too long and thinks of him as a close friend. and lets not forget how she almost passed out when he hugged her that time he was wasted
like yea maybe its not too drawn out (I myself am a huggeee fan of angst and extreme slowburn) but it was clearly coming.
and honestly the whole story is too quick paced, she just met and defeated the stories ultimate villain in like 5 chapters and he was supposed to be the most op mf
moving forth, she been like nine and even had thoughts like "omg why do I feel like this its just nine" but she was too busy to realize. yes its annoying that someone told her and she immediately was like "!!!!" but while I dun think she can say shes point blank in love with him, she does obviously like him
