While he did have a c-section that's not what they're talking about. It's a surgery for his hormone imbalance that caused him to quit skating in the first place, ch 20 if you want to re-read. Though I wished they explained what kind of surgery is done for that.

It's probably the translation thing with Zinchan site that's why it wasn't explained. Hopefully it's explain in the official translation
