In the story, Lucia isn’t considered a beauty by other characters, but is also described to have this unique beauty at the same time. I think the best way to illustrate this is, Lucia has more of this graceful aura to her, whereas someone like the Duke’s ex, that blondie Lawrence or whatever her name is (who is famed for her looks), has a flashier kind of attractiveness. For example, Lucia is like Anya Taylor Joy and the ex is like, Kylie Jenner or something. Both women are beautiful but in different ways.
Raphael constructing a building just so he could see and talk to Cayenna is like sending bank transfers with messages after they’ve blocked you on every social media platform out there.
