So Sovieshit has always been in love with Navier, basically the story of childhood friends growing up and marrying each other. However, as Navier slipped into the role of "Empress", she became a lot colder and he really wanted to see the Navier that was bright and energetic. Both of them were in love with each other as children but because of misunderstandings, the gap in their relationship grew. This is when Trashta comes in. Trashta reminded Sovieshit of younger Navier and Sovieshit wanted to protect that naivete. He doesn't love her, he's been trying to use her as a way to conceive and produce and heir and likes the fact that she reminds him of young Navier. And because he's assuming that Navier is infertile and she refuses to adopt Trashta's spawn, he's choosing to take further measures to secure an heir by making it so that the kid is "technically" a prince/princess because they were born while their mother was the Empress. That's basically Sovieshit's brilliant plan to have kids and keep the love of his life while not saying a single fucking word to our Empress and Queen, Navier.
The way this can be solved by communication, but thank god there wasn’t any because sovieshu is a piece of shit and Navier deserves better.
