Does every character have to be badass and know what they're doing?

well of course no but im talking about this... the way the story potray her.. she supposedly a badass character and yeah .. she should know what shes doing since she already experienced it

Oh, I didnt realize that she was meant to be portrayed as a badass character since it didnt seem that way from her personality; she has a strong personality, but I saw her as a passive type instead of the active type since we were told how she endured most of her "hellish" life with her brothers in her past life (only in this life has she begun to become active, but only towards the things she knows about her brothers), so despite her advantage of knowing some experiences in her past life, I never saw her as the badass type. Im curious why u think she is the badass type?

Also, as for the advantage of knowing what happens; that only applies for the things her past self experienced. In her case, she was mostly abused by her aunt, and she knows that her brothers r dealing with their own problems that she knows nothing about (she can probably guess, but those r mere assumptions). Since she wasnt as aware in her past life during this time (she even said it herself how she doesnt understand how she passed through this time); there r things she most likely missed and there r things that changed (she even noticed how this timeline felt more difficult).
What Im trying to say is... it seems that this was a blur for her and there may be stuff that changed. Since there r info that hasnt been revealed to us, it could mean that there is something holding her back or the events may have even changed a bit, so she can't help but be cautious.

TLDR:
- She has a strong personality from her hardships, but this also made her a passive character instead of an active one. Her personality limits her from doing anything too extreme, so idk how u got the idea that she should be badass.
- Knowing what happens only applies to what she experienced. She said it herself that she doesn't understand how she passed through this time; meaning it was most likely a blur to her (making her unaware of the actions of others). Since she isnt sure, she is cautious at what may happen; this is a smart move since this timeline most likely changed a bit (her saying how it feels more difficult than before).

- Memories r blurry = mc wasnt as aware of the events during this time = little to no advantage
- Possible timeline changes = new unknown events (mc noticed aunt acting differently) = mc is more cautious = mc doesnt have enough of an advantage to act against the aunt = no action/ thrill for us
