He’s NOT going to confess to Hajin, he only loves him as A FRIEND. the flowers are only because he only had lovers before and he’d give them flowers as presents so he didn’t know what to give Hajin. This happens next chapter. Which is also the end of the flashback.

I think people are misunderstanding what Taehyun said. He meant that Hajin was his very first friend and that he loved him for that. Not romantically, just like you’d casually love your close/best friends. He said so himself that he grew fond of Hajin.
Also, the flashbacks are ending soon. They end on chap 80 so two more weeks of it, for those who are asking! But y’all won’t be too happy about it.. :(
