Umm the FL (Tia) is the daughter of the shitty duchess and the duke whilst FL’s brother (white haired shitty dude) is the son of the shitty duchess and the shitty emperor ... so Tia and her brother are half-siblings they share the same mother but different fathers, one (Tia) is legitimate whilst her brother (white haired shitty dude) is illegitimate, which is why the ducal house will be passed on to Tia and not her brother cos he doesn’t carry their ducal blood but rather the current emperor’s blood ... which is the same emperor who accused the ML’s parents of crimes and had them executed .. ’m not that frustrated with the mc either, she’s cautious and she’s from another time, if you expect her to be a « heroine « that’s going to be disappointing, she’s not weak, but she’s not modern either-
I like the perspective and the volume it’s given (her own condition, social status, etc;) it’s not just seen from her, there’s a bit of development on the society in the story
To me it makes her believable as she is
