Huh? Are you talking about the brothers because I would absolutely disagree. The brothers were hostile for no reason at all when the real Penelope was still there. They treated her like garbage and the Duke turned a blind eye to all of that. I think she has every right to be harsh towards them.

Also the real Penelope was a pushover that never fought back against the abuse. Are you saying she had to smile with all the abuse happening? Did she ever ask for them to like her? Did she ever ask for them to raise their affection for her? No. She didn't and she did what she had to do to survive.

So to be honest I’m all for the FL. I get you see it as her messing with their feelings but it’s not like they did much for her to begin with. She doesn’t owe them anything since they were the main reasons as to why she kept dying.

So basically (if I remember correctly) our FL is the OG it’s just she kept dying so much that they sent her soul to Korea so she played the game and when she died she went back. Through the all her lives her “brothers and father” hated her for something that wasn’t her fault. They all neglected her and hurt her. All the servants Also hurt her and all the choice she made with either get her killed even when she was in the right. The only reason she’s living this far is because she’s not sticking up for herself as much. Eclipse in this life will betray her and bring the “real” daughter back so he’s automatically just not it. Now I haven’t heard much bad things with the magician, he’s more of a Second male lead and I usually adore him since he was also the one that let our FL keep living till she got it right. And the prince is husband material.

So In the end of the day 3 of the dudes don’t deserve our FLs attention while 2 deserve the world

Why would she be nice to her abusers and people who screw her over and you say she treats them like a game but she is in a game tho even if it feels real and is her life.

I know what happens I still pitty eclis he was just consumed by obsession, he wasn't that right in the head eithier, and in the end he died, I think he deserves a little more, but to Penelope this was all a game to her, people's feelings aren't a game, and sure ecils made some mistakes(like bringing the real Penelope to the mansion) but I think the way he ended was to harsh, at least let him get with someone else or travel to a different country.

to that I can agree apart from the "game world" is "hard mode" and hard mode basically mean that if you make a mistake you will die! you have no chance of survival in this world. why Pen died so many times to the crown prince for no good reason? it the same thing, he should get that he is not doing the right thing and stop before it gets too late or you know be fucking honest and say what he wants from her instead of using dirty shitty tricks behind her back.

I believe you either misinterpreted the spoilers or they were bad spoilers. But in the beginning when she realized she was in the dating game, she made a list of all the potential candidates to see which guy she will focus on to win their affection (she chose Eclise). As for the rest, she was only going to make sure that their affection meter didn’t go below zero, because a negative favorite rating meant she was likely to die.
She tries to avoid her step-brothers as much as possible. They remind her of her real brothers who treated her like a piece of shit. Their affection increases by accident since she doesn’t focus on the brothers.
She has the magician as backup. But since she doesn’t have much information about him she doesn’t focus on him. She later develops a friendship with him. She sees the magician as a friend only (the magician falls in love with her later, but he knows that his love is one-sided).
Penelope does everything in her power to avoid the prince. She is afraid of him, since she died a lot in the game because of him. However, due to an event that she accidentally triggered, she saved the prince’s life and that is when the prince falls in love with her. Since she constantly avoids the prince, the prince is the one that seduces Penelope. Penelope falls in love with the prince, due to prince effort.
Penelope focus on getting Eclise’s meter to hundred that she doesn’t realize the Eclise’s affection becomes obsessive and toxic. In the attempt to isolate Penelope (Eclise wants Penelope to only depend on him), Eclise betrays her. This make Penelope sad and lets him go. This make Eclise obsession worse and kidnaps Penelope and threatens to kill the prince

Wtf? Why would she treat them well? They don't trust her, don't respect her, betrayed her etc. Only the crown prince treats her like an equal.

He became a threath to her though he was obsessed and even harmed her safety if someone screwed you over the way he did her you wouldn't have pity for him,she wasn't to harsh I don't think your looking at Penelope pov as the victim of his obsessive nature he kidnapped her. She was abused all her life so she'll have trauma from abuse, betrayal and constant mistreatment so naturally she wouldn't be forgiving towards eclis or that bothered to get involved so he can get happy ending. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
