Once again, as I mentioned above it differs based on what culture they grew up in. The link attached is a research discussing the root of normalization of pedophilia in japan. It is deeply rooted to their culture, so this is a normal occurrence to them. Why do you think they make mangas like this and profit from them? Because for them this is not as repulsive as it is to other people but rather part of their culture. But does this make it less immoral? No. Is there anything anyone could do to change it? I knew half way somehow kou was connected to shirou's grandpa but I didn't think that they'd be in that sort of relationship, then and there it could be easily interpreted as kou still being in love with kikujirou with unresolved feelings which was not addressed properly but also expected it that it's gonna open ended but not to this extent!
