this is their second life. so basically they both died and riencarfnated ig anf they are pretty much reliving their first life. Thats why they sometimes have memories/nightmares of their first life.
I see it as they both died in the first timeline and then regressed to before shit went south, but aeroc is the only one who still remembers their previous lives
