Sometimes when i dont feel like reading all the drama, rapey, toxic, cliche webtoons that are popular nowaday, i comeback to this masterpiece for a while

Skye September 21, 2020 9:53 am

Best yaoi in a while. Wonderful art, nice pacing, sensual sex scenes, good plot.

Skye September 21, 2020 4:44 am

I like ukes like Yayoi. He might look fragile but is actually quite strong-willed. He walked away when he realized that seme would keep being cold to him, that nothing would change. No self blaming. Finally a uke with some self-love, self-esteem

You put into words why I keep coming back to this manga (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Skye September 21, 2020 1:59 am

This mangaka's art is out of this world. I love it since Asa to Mitya

Skye September 4, 2020 4:29 am

Chowon actually kipnapped and had Heesoo raped. He failed only because he was stopped. His place is in the prison. Or at the very least a mental institution. Though mental illness does not excuse what he did. Making reader take pity on him out of his mental state is an insult to all people with mental issues out there who try to have healthy happy lives. They do not hurt other, and blame it on mental issue.

    123 September 4, 2020 5:25 am

True, and correct me if I'm wrong but how is love going to help the mental illed he needs therapy. And the attitude he has can't possibly part of his mental illness.

Agree. What I mean is, it is an "excuse" because i think he has no mental illness at all. I think he is just pure evil

    RecessiveGene September 4, 2020 6:35 am

yes. the psycho needs meds and a shrink, not a magical dick to solve his problems.

in some cases. the dude is unhinged, who caused someone a broken leg . In real life he could be a sociopath? getting dicked is not the good option.

Any noticed San Lang's little canine teeth? They give him this kinda foxy look. So cute.

Wait and see in next chapter he looks even more like vampire when he sucks poison out of Dian Xia 's wound ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I HAVE SEEN THE SPOILERS AND AAAAAA, honestly I hadn't imagined the scene to be that- hhhhhhhhhh *hyperventilates at the speed of hualian*

Skye August 24, 2020 3:39 am

Cuteness overload!!!!
It kinda reminds me of stories with DID characters. The fox is like the other alter of Akiha. I think it would work out just fine if Yukuri develops feeling for both of them

    [email protected] August 24, 2020 3:56 am

Yeah, the only difference is that he’s aware of what the fox dies and remembers it.

Skye August 21, 2020 11:04 am

I have just read 1st chapter only. Someone please tell me, how is the guy who "saved" her any better than the other assholes who drugged her? He drunk raped her anyway. Please tell me he is not the love interest

    SlyPawn August 21, 2020 11:29 am

This will be explained later. Don't worry, is consensual!

    ash August 22, 2020 1:41 am

    read buddy.

Skye August 21, 2020 6:12 am

The art is absolutely gorgeous. I have read the novel countless times, so I read the manhua just to look at the art, totally skip the dialogues =)) Hua Hua, Dian Xia, your beauty should be illegal =))

(It is a pity its manhua did not do MDZS the same justice)

Rape trope is popular in yaoi to say the least. 99% of the time, the rapist is the seme, the fact has been discussed countless time, I am so sick of this trope already. I want to talk about the other 1% when uke is assaulted by someone else other than the seme, like in this yaoi. And the seme is the one who help uke. Now this trope is much more logic and realistic. But even so, the MC's reaction to the crime still leaves a lot to desire.

Perhaps because sexual assault and mental issues is still taboo topics in Asian country (mine included)? MCs seems never aware of things to do in case they are assaulted. Things like reporting to police, going to hospitals, requesting rape kit, pressing charge, and after that, what about seeing a therapist, going to counseling, support group. Instead, their solution and coping mechanism is rather unhealthy IMO

I have read lots of Western gay romance novel, their way of handling rape trope is much better. I wish in the future there will be yaoi with rape trope that is more realistic and healthy.

    Erie_the_fujoshi August 19, 2020 6:08 am

Oh i get what ur saying. But I think the reason it wasnt too touched upon and his reaction was sinple is actually because it happened years ago.

    Skye August 19, 2020 6:25 am

Actually I was not talking about this yaoi only. I want to talk about all yaoi that have similar plot.

    Vanilkk August 19, 2020 11:20 am

the intention of yaoi is not to give you a life lesson, more like short romance stories, all that isn’t really needed. that or something to get you off idk. i think it depends on the genre if it’s slice of life and not a short story i could see the after affect of rape tropes, but that kinda story is rare. Same with hentai they were made for the male/female fantasy idk no ones gonna go to a hentai watch a female get raped just for her to go to a therapist, sadly it’s gross but that’s just how i kinda see it.

I agree with you. Certainly its not to give a life lesson, its just like passing your time with something or simply to get you off.

    xerxesregnard August 19, 2020 7:37 pm

The main reason to the rape trope or people who use lame excuses like "iS jUsT fIcTiOn" is because people are disgusting and stupid, they prioritize their "entrainment" to everything else, they don't care as long as they have their entertainment, totally brushing aside how hurtful this can be neither do care about how wrong and nocive it is, especially to rape victims, young pleolple and the LGBT+ community that their characters represent.
I can't say how many times I've received hate from readers when I point this topic.
The saddest part is that this one is actually ok, is not like most yaoi where someone (mostly the uke) gets raped and then they fall in love with their rapist with the "bUt Is OuT oF lOvE" bullshit, is just a poor resource to have sex (is actually not sex but rape) scenes right away.
People are stupid, disgusting and horrible. I hope someday they learn better.
