I have mixed feelings about this story.
It is a heart-warming story, healthy relatioship, good communication between characters, and they are lovable.
However, the story is too fast paced for me. They fall in love too fast, no build up, no interaction. Im not very convinced. And the conflict is resolved too fast. No climax to the plot.
Wow the gut to read the story on lllegal site and complain about it. You are not paying customer, you have no right to complain about the product, you know?
And it is meaningless too, author will never know about your complaint. Even IF the readers here listen to you and stop reading, it makes no difference, ya know?

well, why would wanting to be read by the author the only or main motivation of a comment (even negative)?
reasons could be to check if others feel the same, to warn other readers if they themselves found something unexpected, to vent by putting impressions in words... for me, as long as there is no disrespectful bullshit such as insults or inviting people to hurt themselves /kms then it seems really okay for me to see others complain and can also feel okay to complain myself

I love that this story ending is a HFN (happy for now) kind of ending.
A happy ever after ending might satisfy readers' fantasy and ease our souls, but it is obviously not realistic. Given the nature of their complex relationship. They just cannot be lovey dovey and be content for the rest of their lives.
Kang Moo will most likely keep killing. And Kirin is stuck with him forever, being aware of his killing and unable to do anything.
So obviously it is best to just stop here.
What i sum up so far:
1. Top was adopted by a prostitute.
2. Top is in love with that prostitute aka his adoptive father (somehow it was translated as stepfather)
3. Baeksa is a god/spirit that took over the father's body.
4. There is some sort of misunderstanding between top and the father. The father seems to resent him.
