Honestly i like Jeanette. My first time liking a potential villainess, and also hoping for the best of her. She's a wonderful and precious child. She only wishes to have a family, to be happy with Claude and Athy. She doesn't mean any harm, she only wants to have a family who will love her, because she wasn't able to experience one. I hope she doesn't end up as the villainess. I hope she also find her own happiness in the end. I hope that her real father will come to love her. I hope greed and jealousy will not eat her heart and soul away.

Honestly even though she's a kind of a snobby bitch later on she's not that awful. She always feels guilty because of how she behaves but she also feels like she's never been loved and she has nothing for herself in life, which is true, so she avoids Athy for the most part. I don't like Jeanette and always found her annoying but it's true she's a pitiful character. She just wanted love from a family that wasn't hers. She's still a bitch for always making Ijekiel feel like shit cause Athy doesn't like him back and she gets ahead of herself thinking she deserves just as much as Athy (love and attention from those around her bc it's her "rightful" place) but she gets what she deserves in the end so ♀ ppl seriously need to chill tho lol she's just a dumb girl

That's how I feel about her as well. I don't like her but I don't particularly hate her nor wish for her to die or suffer needlessly lol and yeahhhhh though technically Claude and Athy ARE her family. Uncle and cousin so it's not wrong for her to become close to them either but she does need to take 5 large steps back also yes, this is from the novel!

Nope just hate for her 'trying' to steal that shitty claude that has only one redeemable quality which is being handsome. Honestly hope that she end up with her real dad (family sense) cuz she doesn't deserve that merciless and psychopath claude who treat human lives as merely a big existence and I wonder if they had forgot that Claude order to kill athy in her previous life without even caring if she had even proven guilty. Like noooo, but changed. Yeah right only being a selfish guy who only cares about his love ones and treat everyone including a child( jennette) like trash and not even worthy of his time when he did that to athy before .

Well you're not wrong lol the dude only cares about his own loved ones. He's not someone who received love growing up so he doesn't care for it and when he did love something it (she) died so I mean,,,,. He's kinda shitty but if you think about his life you can see why he is the way he is. In the past life he had no recollection of loving someone (Diana) bc he erased those painful memories so it was as though his mind was still at the stage of having never received love, abused, being betrayed by his brother and 'lover', always being on edge for his life, having his mother killed and other stuff. His life sucked. I won't say that excuses what he did to Athy, that was awful and it does make him a shit person. In this current life tho we see how he can be with memories of loving someone and having his daughter around, he's mellow, still indifferent to anyone, but he doesn't go out of his way to kill or harm anyone either. The current (lost memories) Claude is very much like the first life Claude bc he again has no memories of love. I'm so sorry for this essay but I gotta defend my mans Claude lmaoo

Hmm that wasn't a past life it was a novel. Athy is a reincarnated person from some an Asian country that DIED and was isekai into a book she use to read. Besides for all we know he was under the curse but they didn't explain it in the book. He hated Athy because the woman he loved GAVE her life for her child and he blames Athy for that. It was also HARD for him to look at her when she LOOKS like her mom or reminds him of her mom. Also even in the book it emphasize him getting sick and feeling better when Jeanette came around until he eventually died with her around. The same way Lucas said that Jeantte will make his magic feel stabilize BUT being around her will KILL HIM quicker. The novel hinted at what's currently happening Athy just too slow to catch up on it.

He was more than likely under the effects of the curse when he Killed Athy IN THE NOVEL not past life. She didn't return from the future to the past. She dies in some Asian country and then git reborn in a novel. As we ALL KNOW when someone is reborn in a novel there are the behind the scenes drama that occurs that even the reincarnated person be like "but the novel never said this" or "this happened before the protagonist came so I better not do this and change the story" or "if I do this will this interfere with the story since it's years before the heroine appears" or "the Villainess was really evil it she was just under a spell or being controlled" Yada Yada yada. Since Lucas explained it everything makes sense. It was mentioned in the novel that Claude starting getting sick or losing his mind and only Jeanette could calm his mind but eventually he ended up dying. The same thing was happening before Lucas came and temporarily save the day. Athy just too stupid to make the connection. Also everytime Jeanette comes around Athy Lucas always complains that she picked up something and has to cleanse her with his magic. She knows how the story went but is still recklessly using things from Jeanette KNOWING that her shitty uncle is out to KILL BOTH HER(ATHY) AND CLAUDE.
Lol not coming for you or trying to argue by the way. I just feel like everything could have been avoided if Athy was so stupid and just told Claude or Lucas or Jeanette about everything. But if she did that the story would be done wouldn't?

No no it's been confirmed that the life Athy lived where she read the novel aka the Asian country was indeed Athy in her 2nd life. Her first life was the life in the novel, 2nd the Asian country and her third is now back to her "past" original world, but a do-over. I forget how it's all tied in with the book but it has to do with Artenitus.
Also Athy doesn't know what happens after the book ends and Jeanette stays with Claude. She doesn't know that Anastacius returns and they kill Claude, all she knows is that Claude and Jeanette stay happily ever after. But you're right that she needs to be more cautious of Jeanette since she knows she's a ball of walking black magic. Luckily Lucas is there to point all these things out but really I think Athy over thinks a few things and then undermines others.
But yes, you're also right in that he was under the effects in the first life. I forgot about that. I mean in a way it's hard to tell those around you about novel worlds and black magic children and stuff like that lol I think Athy is doing the best she can, I actually like that she's a little dumb and not all-knowing and calculating bc that's not her personality.

Holy fuck! 3rd life? No wonder she a lil slow. Too much to remember lol. Hmm I think she should have told them that she had a dream that yada yada yada happened. She should have hinted Jeanette at least so she goes away from daddy Claude lol. Like let's be friends/cousins from a DISTANT. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧(≧∀≦)
I hope the concubine is not an enemy, and that her shyness and docile attitude is not a facade. I honestly ship her with the empress. If this is not yuri then i hope they can be friends at least.
for the realest real~~
Actually if you read the raw, you will know that the concubine isn't kind like you think. She has dark side that she hides. She is a wolf in the lamb fur.
.........ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh of course she does. why wouldn't she ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
