For an average sized person the most you can healthily loose in a week is about 2 pounds/week having about 900cal a day and exercising moderately (and really your not supposed to go below 1200cal/day or it can have long lasting metabolic effects)
While people who are overweight can loose more weight in a week than people of average weight (it requires more energy to move when your heavy and your body more readily burns fat stores when you have a lot of them), the most you could expect to loose in a week would be 5 or 10 pounds if you were really really pushing it. From the images in the montage, it looks like the MC lost atleast 60 pounds, maybe more.
It’s literally just not possible even pushed to human extremes. Arggghh I should be this mad but as someone who struggled with an eating disorder for years and still have thought patterns left from the mental effects of dieting it just aaaaaaahahahahasdffghs idk. Just wanted to let y’all out there know that loosing weight fast ain’t realistic and ain’t that easy so don’t feel bad to take it slow and sometimes even gain weight. Dieting can make you beat yourself up about the stupidest things and the more the success of the diet matters to you it can lead you deeper into a self hating spiral without you knowing it. Remember to take it slow and steady, to forgive yourself for likening and wanting and eating food, and please stay safe and stay healthy

That's probably because she's forcing herself to do it fast. Also, Ren said he was "worried" that she's doing it fast. Meaning, she's aware of the situation but doesn't care. Because it's more important to reach her goal. Besides, she has the stones just in case something happens. She would be fine in a world of magic.

It’s possible that it’s been more than 2 weeks since she started dieting. Even with sources, the second prince probably wouldn’t know That she’s gone on a diet the same day she made the decision. Even if he did, if he didn’t think she was serious he may just leave her be for a week or so before feeling the need to interfere.
