i really like the story and the plot revelation so far. here are my current thoughts n theories about the story:
1. doha is probably the OG player or mc of the main horror game which explains why the DLC started after he inserted his own cassette tape at the save point. he has might've already completed the game before he became an npc or was set to always be the mc of the game explaining why he killed the villager that time bada saw him which altered the game.
2. there's a high chance that everyone became is a player at some point but some of their cassette tapes got messed up. i also think the blue haired guy n his love interest will play a bigger role once their backstory has been revealed if they really were players.
3. yeong-taek explaining that he became an npc because his cassette stopped playing leads me to believe that there might also be a problem with bada's cassette player which is related to his fuzzy memory of the game. seongchan might have been purposely trying to manipulate both yeongtaek and bada for his own benefit.
4. maybe only one player can really escape the game which explains why seongchan keeps betraying bada and might also be the one to stop yeongtaek's record player. yeongtaek seems really smart because he is a hardcore horror player which might get in seongchan's way. bada on the other hand is dense and keeps playing the game over and over again making it easy for seongchan to reach the ending without doing anything or whatever.
idk if everything makes sense but these r all just my tots so far. i hope we het more chapters soon!
Omg only one player being able to escape makes me think back to when Doha thought it might be a competition and Bada was like "these games don't work like that," but I think Bada might be wrong and you might be right. Maybe the horror game didn't get a good reception cuz it wasn't really a horror game, but also a battle royale of wits. That would be shookening.
Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that Bada was actually an NPC as well. I bet Doha is gonna experiment by destroying someone's casette

mc n the brother has a lot of interactions + he always saves her when she's in trouble. i don't think there's anything wrong if they end up together bc they're not blood related n the father probably married the stepmother + mc's wife to marry off to his son, or the brother might actually be a prince undercover (the usual reincarnation plot) idk.
