Idk why anyone would find Saliou too boring. He was super sweet and caring the entire time while Paulo was a narcissistic asshole. I do agree as well that it's gross for people to think that Paulo should've been the one to win the MCs heart because he literally raped the boy several times without even thinking once "I shouldn't do this" because he could give less of af about how others feel. I think the author did a good job, in my opinion, of making Paulo creepy, but they didn't do well at reflecting how the rape really would have affected someone in the situation. That may be why it's easy for people to say Paulo's fine and Saliou's boring. Sometimes fujos/fudans are really toxic. People need to stop justifying this crap because they think a character is hot.

Agreed. But what else can you do when you realize that rape is super prevalent in yaoi. Once you get into it, you start to justify it because it's something you enjoy reading. I'm not saying the people who believe this shit aren't to blame, but authors do play a hand in how they potray awful things like rape. I want some genuine creators who care about the affects of crappy things and portray them correctly to be the majority and have the majority of content regarding yaoi, but sadly they don't. This kind of thinking is what makes people homophobic and in the end causes people to think all gay people are rapists, when they are not. I do know, though, that this kind of content is also in straight media, but it's still concerning either way. Nobody should say that rape is okay, whether you enjoy a work or not because it shows a severe lack of understanding
about how rape survivors feel and how truly awful it would be to stand in their shoes.

I think authors do this because most people like it, unfortunately, and they think it'll make their Manhwa "more interesting" because let's face it, the most popular BL Manhwa always have rape in them, and the rape is romanticized. The rapist always has a tragic back story (which is not even that tragic most of the time) and a "character development" which is literally always like "oopps I raped you. My bad. Now let's make out again"

And I don't like how the uke just gets over it. They get raped a hundred times and are still like "he's a good person!! He didn't rape me or abuse me for the last hour!! It must be true love!!" Like they never show you the side effects that rape has on a person, which goes to show that authors and some fans just view rape as a "more interesting sex scene" which is not okay and shouldn't be so normalized.

And the sad thing is, a lot of Manhwa or webtoon that portray a healthy M/M relationship are never popular. And even in straight webtoons/ comics people always go for the abusive and toxic male lead, but when it comes to r#pe the majority treat it like an actual issues. They don't romanticize it (most of the time) and when they do, the get hate for it, but here if you comment on rape you're views as the problem, which is sad because it give the wrong idea to a lot of people about gay people.

I think the disgusting fans are the bigger problem, because authors wouldn't do it if no one supported them through it.
(Even tho they shouldn't do it in the first place because it just f#cking disgusting, and any author who does it for an "interesting plot" are just a sad excuse of a human being)

I can't wait to see how this author is gonna try to justify r#pe and abuse (because unfortunately that's a thing in Bl manhwa/webtoon). I just hope with all my being that the author won't use "I Love you, but I couldn't show how " or " SH didn't understand that it was wrong! " or even " he has a very sad past "
But the way it's going I'm sure the author will make NK stupid and weak and have him forgive SH instead of taking his chance and leaving for good.

Most of us are waiting to see SH character development, but I'm waiting for NK's. He needs to know his worth and not fall in love with his r#pist/ kidnapper/ abuser the second he acted like a decent human being for a full minute. I need him to stand up for himself, leave and take mister Kim with him.

but I don't think I'm gonna continue reading it to find out what happens, because if r#pe is the only plot that the author can think of as "exciting" or "wow that's hot!" , then I'm sure the ending will be trash (and feel disgusted while reading it. )

(Btw not blaming NK for getting r#ped when I said " stupid and weak" I meant that he'll be one of those characters that forgave everyone and couldn't stand up for themselves)

im pr sure the author is gona keep doing rape scenes cuz they seem to enjoy writing abt it at this point smh anyways im dropping it too I might just come back later when it's completed n check the comments to see if nakyum finally stood up for himself n got out of that situation (which is highly unlikely sadly) nakyum has been weak throughout the whole manga so I doubt hes gona end up suddenly standing up for himself :/ (and I HATEE how normalized it if for bl stories to have weak ukes who get pushed around n mistreated all the time but then end up forgiving the seme)

It's just as disturbing as Seth/Anubis because both Seth and Sesshoumaru acted like parent-like figures to those children. I wouldn't mind a Sess x Rin so much if was a *future* development in this Inuyasha sequel, after Sesshoumaru had already had already proved he had at least tried it out other partners and real relationships... But with the guy not having even trying to ever "date" anyone besides Rin, it's super disturbing... like he was single-mindedly just waiting for her to grow up just enoughso, before he could.... (can't even finish the sentence). Adult viewers just can't help seeing it that way.
