I honestly don't know if I'm allows to say this because I stopped reading on chapter 40 something (I think it was the end of season one) , and now I skipped all the way to chapter 86, and I gotta say I never liked joowon before but now he developed so much from the spoiled brat he was before. he is mature and is taking responsibility and he is not pushing haesoo into anything like he used to do before. Seeing his character development is really amazing but I still don't think they will end up together, I don't know but something about this conversation was like they are on good terms but not involving any romantic feeling, like " yeah were okay now and I respect you but we are not going to start dating after this" but I don't know, they might end up together, who knows?
Personally I would like joowon to move on and find someone else, and it's not for the sake of haesoo x taku, I just think that it would be better for him and haesoo.
I don't know about taku tho, so I can't say anything about that ship, I shipped them in season one, but because I skipped 40 chapters, I don't know If he changed or whatever.
But I just wanted to point out Joowon's character development and how it surprised me, I honestly though he was gonna be possessive and annoying to the end.
And I also loved the mother's character development, we see that she actually care more about hasso and I hope she leaves that POS. :)

I'm dropping this. This manga is so cliche and boring, honestly. We all know the Mc will choose the one that treats him horribly, because why not? It's romantic
And IDK about you but when jooin starts acting like an idiot and does not set boundaries and make it clear that he does not want yahwi near him, and instead just sticks to him all the time, even after he treats him like trash, then I really don't give a shit about him anymore because that's annoying af, and mc characters like this just get on my nerves.
# and remember that no is a no, no =no, no means" I don't fucking want it". yahwi clearly doesn't understand that.
P.s.(spoiler?) don't give me the "he has character development, like he cover him with a blanket and stuff!! And smiled too!! " Bullshit. Character development, to me, starts with communication. He needs to address the problem and apologize for the way he treated jooin, not ignore it and act like it never happened, and act possessive and jealous all the time, even tho they are not in a relationship, and still treat him like trash afterwards. That is not character development. (plus he is doing the bare minimum, I'm not gonna praise him for that)

I think I'm gonna drop this because I hate when abusive relationships are glorified. And no this isn't a relationship that "needs to get better", it simply needs to Stop. The only reason that I might continue reading this is for the first couple and the rest of the story.
Ps. If 704 will end up with someone else other than the rapist (which I doubt will happened) please tell me

Fuck gumseun. 704 deserves so much better.
Even more disgusting are the people in the comment who are like "OMG guys c'mon, it totally normal. BL manhwa/yaoi always have R#pe in them. Don't get mad at gumseun " like Wtf??? No. We will get angry, because no matter what r#pe is r#pe. Idgaf what type of manhwa this is, r#pe should never be normalized. and you should NEVER defend a rapist.

Please give me your recommendation for a story like this but without the romance (°>°)
I just want a story like "solo leveling" where the MC focuses on his purposes.
(If you like romance that's fine. I personally just don't like it because I find it unnecessary

It's Cha Haein (the girl who is A rank and kept on saying that Jinwoo smelled un-like the other miners)
There is one annoying part when Jinwoo is too busy on a date with her to realize (something imp that happens) but besides that the romance isn't annoying. (Unless they change things in the manhwa)

Man.. i can't believe i felt so mad when i read that part... i mean Jinwoo is in the middle of a mission(?)but suddenly he ask her for a date?!?!?! And then something really bad happen when those two got hot heavy in the middle out of nowhere
The mood is still full-action and then suddenly a romance?!?!?! I was so confused i reread that part a few times but yea.... kinda disappointed....

See this is what I mean. The romance just came out of nowhere and in the worst time possible. Like why even?? ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
it adds nothing to the story line. The only thing that it does is make it unbearable, cringy and annoying.
I'm more upset because I liked the girl's character on her own, now she is going to be blushing all the time and only thinking about hime while In the middle of a battle. like????
I think the reason why some people hate characters is not mainly about the characters themselves it's more because of the fandom, how? Well, I noticed when reading the arguments, although they are fun to read, most of them are bad. It's like if you ship haesoo with one of them, then you HAVE to hate the other, or when a character is developing for themselves or basically doing anything for themselves some people are immediately picking sides and ignoring the development. It's also because shippers are always tearing down the character that is not in their ship in order for their ship to "sail".
And no, this isn't about one of the sides, it's about the taku stans AND the joown stans. It's always "taku is gonna turn bad" or "joowon development isn't good" or "haesoo should pick x because the other one is blah blah blah blah" like I understand it's a romance Mahwah, and you can ship whatever you want, but there is no need for you to trash other characters just so you can find reason for your ship to work out ( well, unless the other love interest is actually really bad for the main character then you are free to trash them :D )
And another thing is the lack of respect for other people's opinions. Whenever someone says "I ship haesoo with X" or even if they say "I don't ship haesoo with anyone" someone had to comment " no I hate X, even though he didn't do anything wrong, he is blah blah blah. haesoo and Z are better because blah blah blah"
I really don't mind reading the arguments because they are fun, but some people take it too far. I could ignore insulting the characters, because the are not real, but it's worst when someone is rude to another person and I've seen this a lot, when someone says " I don't like this character because (a valid reason)" someone would reply "then don't read it we don't care" or would start insulting the other person for no reason, and to those people I say grow tf up :D
, if you don't do this then please keep on arguing your cases politely, I have fun reading them.
P.s not telling you what to do, just pointing out that you maybe the reason why people hate your favorite character or ship.
