I am frustrated lol but the thing, I can't really blame her. The longer you love someone the harder you can move on. Or rather, harder for you to accept that you don't have a chance. For all those year, the thought of "maybe they'll love me back" keep holding you back. I dunno it's how it happens to me. And the only time I let go those thoughts are when they show me how content they are in their new love.

He really didn't love Lucy at all. He just wanted to be with her just because Lucy didn't leave him. He doesn't like being alone. He probably mixed up his feelings to love. Both Lucy and Henry are on his side so in a "normal" view, he has a reliable friend and a woman who will always stay with him. In the other world/timeline, Henry starts acting different. He keeps going out without him and that's probably why his encounter with Lucy changed. He was too preoccupied about the thought that Henry's is now not staying with him. He doesn't have any time to deal with Lucy if his friend is going out of his reach. And thus, without Lucy in the picture, he assume that him, chasing Henry is him being in love when it's fact, he just wanted someone to be with him. I feel like this will somehow solved if Chance fix himself.
It's simp time everyone
