Rio's real last name can easily be hidden now as a student, but once she graduates, she can't very well have the name Tachibana on all her records if she wants to get to a university that will accept her.
Let's say the parents allow this play to continue, will they approve of future relationships?
The ending wasn't terrible, but it's too abrupt. There's a difference between an open ending and a story that was left abandoned.
