idk if im right but the senpai broke up with him because he had a stalker and there was a panel in ch.5 where he was lying in his bed and an image of a hand pops up to his mind and he said to himself disgusting.. so im presuming that the stalker did smth to him ??? right? no? idk lolol

My theory would be that the stalker kidnapped him... and detained him all this time until he finally successfully escaped oR something like that...and the break up text was either sent by the stalker or the senpai was forced to send it... I imagine the stalker to be a delusional maniac that thought he was actually going out with the senpai... one evidence is that senpai does not seem that he had a job (like no colleagues...no friends from these 3 y after he « left »)... and It also explains why he lost those memories of these 3 y after he fought the bad guy to escape (they mentioned a scuffle as the cause of his injuries) because of the trauma (it is said that he only sustained light injuries..) .
To me it's really wierd how sempai casually responded to the stacker with "really" when he said that he like him. Maybe he wasn't kidnapped but try the stacker willingly. But there was trouble and the "accident" so he lost his memories or so he said. I was not satisfied with the ending. Motoki should've move on with his life. Sempai Is still keeping secrets.
I think that maybe the scene with the stalker is before he even dated the MC... like when he met the stalker directly for the first time he even said that the first time he faced him head on and that that was a mistake ( and in that scene when he met the guy it seems like he was meeting him for the first time and the guy even spoke about his uniform..so he had not graduated yet...) senpai did say that he knew about the stalker and that it calmed down when he was dating ...and then something happened after graduation suddenly that made him disapear like he was spirited away... and at the end I do not know if he was still keeping secrets or is just amnesiac because of the trauma and refuses to remember those times... he said that after graduation the guy stalked him again and then he woke up in the hospital... well it is my interpretation... :) and I kind of like it like this even if I would rather have all the answers delivered in the story.... here it’s like we are missing 1 or 2 chapters from senpai point of view so we can just extrapolate...
Perso I think he is lying, It's more like the fact that his so-called stalker told him he is fan made him go out with him and his friend knew it , plus I don't think he lost his memories...I think he regrets what he did to motoki and wanted to return with him and made up that story with his friend...he just disgusted about his own action and how cheat on motoki...I don't feel any honesty in him and in his friend...and the panel where motoki told him about future...his smile was fake
