You see, Harada never romanticizes rape, she (According to baka-updates Harada is a "she".) always pictures it as it is: Something horrible, devastating, unforgivable, disgusting and traumatizing. Although this story is a comedic one, Harada does not compromise and shows us that trauma despite everything. Rape isn't a way to love, it's violence.
And i feel so sorry for Kazuya. I don't know, maybe If i were him i might try to murder Reo or at least i'd wanted him dead and if he were to die i would celebrate it for 10 days straight.

I think the manhwa skipped some part of the novel. There was an important conversation between Hilise and Ricardo before Diego came and Hilise took his power. Ricardo tried to scold her for her actions but Hilise brought back an incident which happened on Gabrielle's 16th birthday. On that day Gabrielle stole Hilise and Ricardo's mother's memento earrings and came out. When Ricardo saw her he was so frighteningly angry that Gabrielle told him it was Hilise who took the earrings. You all can guess what happened next, right? He went and slapped Hilise without confirming the truth. One of the employees actually saw Gabrielle and spoke about it, that's why she had to confess and i'm sure you can also guess what happened next. Yes, the shittiest father of the year praised the bratielle for being an honest girl. (He fired the employee, though.) After reminding him how he slapped her for something she didn't do Hilise slaps him with her words: "And none of the people in this house have ever apologized to me."
It doesn't end here. She reminds him how he didn't even know she almost died because of pneumonia and calls him a hypocrite. Hilise outspokenly says both Ricardo and Diego are dead to her. That's when Diego storms in only to lose his power to Hilise.
I don't know why they skipped her conversation with Ricardo, maybe they will bring it up later but i wanted to share just in case.

I wish the dead mother haunted that scumbag father and told him how much she loathed him for agonizing her precious daughter. Since he loved his wife so much and blamed his innocent daughter for his wife's death that would be perfect punishment for him. I wouldn't be satisfied if those two didn't regret what they did to her.
Thank god, no Reo this chapter.
