the misunderstanding arc is just so chaotic...All they do is scream at each other all the time (this is not an exageration, they literally only scream at each other). Not one bit of logic, they're both horrible people, full of bitter toxicity
Their relationship is far more chaotic and toxic than honestly most in any other manhwa I've read and honestly it keeps the story interesting so I'm enjoying it. They're toxic and pretty selfish but again, it's entertaining

No, it is Camus. She was only partially possessed by a demon. Camus is a powerful mage, so the demon cannot fully take over her body. When the demon does seize control, Camus's soul prevents complete possession and instead forms a contract. The agreement allows the demon to control her body for half a day, after which Camus regains control. Though Vikir will be able to pierce someone's soul because of his sword, it is also the reason why Vikir can separate the demon from Camus's body in the later chapters.
