The whole premise of this webtoon is a bit…. Crappy isn’t it? Or maybe I’ve just been reading a lot of other stories where the FL deserved a divorce a lot more than Ethel. I mean good for Ethel for speaking up, but it’s just such an underwhelming story.
You might as well tell her to stay married then and just forcefully fall in love with him and deal with the same shit she's been dealing with then. The end. Not an amusing story at all ya? But this story is highlighting how hard it is to escape a man when society is built around the favor of men and will only lean in the man's favor bringing about reactions like yours that basically shout "SHE'S COMPLAINING OVER NOTHING SHE SHOULD JUST TALK IT OUT AND GET OVER IT!!!" ,Which literally would be the very definition of a boring and underwhelming story no?
It’s not that, it’s just ridiculous to think that it’s this difficult to get a divorce. Like it should’ve been a quick thing to deal with. Maybe I’m just dumbfounded at all the running around that is needed. Like you said this society sides with men, and that’s not how we think in modern terms.
"Modern" really depends on where you live some places just got divorce laws recently and others still don't or even with laws it still a taboo to be a divorcee
