Clearly you don't know how hard it is to come out. Imagine being born "different" than society wants you to be. Dont you dare type "grow up" and placing the blame on gyulwoo. There is a reason why 80+ seniors grown ass men are coming out from the closet. It's NOT easy. People you thought loved you, turns their back on you.

“Grow up”? Are you even reading the same thing we are? Yeah it’s nice that his sister clearly accepts him and that he has an amazing boyfriend, but he lives in a society that would shun him if they knew he was gay. No matter how much support he may have, if he’s outted, he may lose his job, he may lose the rest of his family, he may lose his other friends. We all hope he comes to accept himself and relies on his sister and boyfriend but at no point is not gown up. In fact, it’s because he’s grown up that he worries. It’s not about being “mature”, it’s about feeling like you are safe to be who you really are.

After reading your comment and your replies, it's clear that you are young so I won't curse at you and hope you find some common sense in a few years. However, instead of acting like your comment is "a difference of opinion", try to actually LISTEN to the replies? Grow up is NOT the same as get rid of your anxiety and fears and come out the closet to your sister. If you meant that he should start talking to his sister AFTER this chapter, AFTER he found out she knows, then don't fault the replies because that was not mentioned in your comment. And even if someone knows that you are gay, if you have anxiety you can still think that everything can go wrong if you are completely honest, so for you to act like mental health issues preventing him from getting better is equal to "GROW UP" just shows you are too young or way too ignorant to even comprehend what people go through. Its not a difference of opinion when you act like a real mental issue of anxiety is something that is equal to growing up, THAT is blatant ignorance and VERY disrespectful.

Look, i know this might not be so easy to get, but you can't force it.
Accepting yourself is usually very hard for people in the lgbtq community, and most time when people do, it's because they finally felt ready to.

I've always been lucky enough to have people around me who are accepting and who themselves are queer, but i still couldn't accept myself and rather told myself i was straight.

It takes time, and even when you are finally ready to come out and all that, you'll still probably have that little bit of hate towards yourself for being lgbtq.

But love for me is forgiving. I hate to say this but this won't make me feel better. I understand the point of view by how the author's presented it in an ideal life. But we all know nobody is perfect. Everyone is unique with our own mistakes. We hurt everyone even if we don't want to. We meet people at the wrong time and places. We cried over our foolishness. And it should have been better if everyone is trying to correct those mistakes and pick everyone of them to a right place. What I am trying to say is that, I feel sorry for the other guy. The auther didn't give him the best moment to explain more of his sides. I mean he was straight since he was born and I don't know how hard it is for him to fall for someone at the edge of losing the person because he came late about realizing things. That is something should be in the story. But anyways, still thanks to you man. You made me hurt while reading it.

That’s sound rough life. If it were me, i can forgive ppl’s mistake but not to forget. If it were me who made mistake, i’ll seek forgiveness as much as i can and learn to forgive myself so i can move on. I agree about time healing, i took 2 years to forget my 1st love entirely. In those 2 years i feel like broken to pieces but then time slowly heal my heart. I may still remember but i already heal from the wound, so i’m not hurt when reminiscing the old moment. I could relate from subin and hyunwoo perspectives.

That was kind of my thinking about big bro, until the flashback and how he treated Haejoo on their first meeting. I dunno how to explain it, but the vibes I'm getting is that he had his own agenda for Haejoo and the accident somehow ruined whatever he had planned for him in the future.
