i love how adorable she is but holy shit get a bike or something. how many times is she gonna be in her ex's car????? when she hates him so bad??? like if i was her i'd be as concise as possible wdym in 20 chapters u have been in his car almost FOUR TIMESSS!!!!!!!!???! just say NO!!! this is why dudes think "yes" means "no" bro i love her but oh my god is she a pushover rn.

tbh, this is one of the more interesting stories i've read. it's conflicting.. like you know guwon has a fucked up sense of humanity but you're not sure if he just doesn't have that at all or if he needs to learn it? like how a child needs to get taught right from wrong.
it also intrigues me that we know nearly nothing about guwon at all. why doesn't he have any memories? what was his life before this? why does he do the things he does? who put these ideas in his head to uphold these "rules"? like yeah he's hot and sexy but damn if it were me i'd run away n just kill myself somewhere else

omggg that's my thoughts exactly!!
even though I find his actions despicable, I'm not so keen on... hating him, or quickly condemning him - the same way you wouldn't condemn a child, or someone who has a mental disability. his actions are disgusting to us, but he doesn't seem to understand why, and that's really what I find interesting. he is completely convinced his actions are rightful, and doesn't seem to grasp that other people feel repulsed by it.
It looks to me like something in his past completely ruined his education and socialization - thus making him develop this sick and twisted sense of justice. his thwarted morals aren't just a decoration, they're a key part of this story, and honestly the very single thing that keeps me from dismissing him as just another psycho top. he's such an interesting character istg.
(disclaimer: I'm not justifying him or his actions cuz at the end of the day he's still responsible for them!! I'm just really interested in knowing the reasons why he turned out like this; I don't hate him because I find him interesting and also because if he really is a product of a sick environment - as I suppose -, then he's a victim just as much as he's a killer.)

Nahhhh, he literally killed the fam of the doc… a mother and two children, maybe even more than that. And if you kill women and children ur dead to me… hope they get a good plan to take revenge on him. Fuck him and hes not a victim he is a strong ass man using his advantages in a opportunity of an apocalyptic world to play puppet theaters with human beings. Trust me he knows exactly what he is doing, he moved into this town first, created the “stage”, went out to find “puppets”, kills everyone who seems not useful to him but is emotionally important to others, with that trapping and controlling the people he takes with a mixture of installing fear and using the weakness of the survival instinct these people have in these scenarios. “He doesn’t know that its wrong” is not an excuse but actually THE problem. He is not like a child just an evil crazy smart dumbass, a psycho a sociopath idk clearly a threelegged idiot who should die at the end of this for the story to be good then (Good enough for me)

hi!! I totally get what you mean and I think it's so cool we have totally different interpretations of his character!! I obviously was just stating a theory of mine, I totally didn't mean in any way to diminish or brush aside all the harm and the evil that he's done. Obviously, to me, he *would* be a victim if things went according to my theory of severe childhood abuse/neglect. This still doesn't take away the fact that he murdered people in cold blood and that he's still responsible for his actions, even if they come from a thwarted world view. Same way a schizophrenic guy who killed somebody bc of his condition might get a reduced sentence, but is still responsible for the crime.
But your point of view is really interesting and eye-opening!! I'm looking forward to see who is right out of the two of us, eheh <3 have an amazing day!! ヾ(☆▽☆)

don't get me wrong, the plot is good and the way the author goes about our fl's character is very interesting but i'm literally lost 50% of the time i'm reading this manhwa.
many times it's due to mistranslation but it's also the pacing of the story like in ch 38 where cassio and emilia are talking they were all good and happy n all of a sudden she hates him and thinks he's a terrible person?? like what??? he didn't even say anything that made sense tho??
all the men in this story have no substance too btw.

tldr -- 8.99/10 good story, good art, but BE WARNED it is a bit on the slower side in terms of progression. highly recommend to marinate this manhwa!!
mc is a mary sue and is incredibly OP but it is not explained why due to this story being a slowburn (?). despite catching up to 69 chapters, there is still untapped territory such as her past, before the dragon expedition. i also wish they expanded more on the life elkinas lead in the 80 years our mc was gone.
they almost seem to forget their child in the middle of the story and it seems less about the three of them and more about demons lol. it's almost like they put the kid in every other 10 chapters bc they remember he exists. they sprinkle around that "family" plotline throughout the story as well.
her "act first, think later" mentality can get old very quick. it's pretty refreshing to see elkinas' character, a man who has lived a century but looks and feels young around his lover. his patience also compliments aryn's straightforwardness as well.

the art style so goooddd the plot is also captivatingg but goddamn i hate how chaser is her "brother" like eughhh... if they were gonna make him her adoptive brother why the weird romantic tension?!! why couldnt he be traumatized in a "ill protect u bc i lost everything" kinda way why is he a "ill protect u bc ur mine" wayyyy!!! i'm also afraid of what happened pre-transmigrated/pre-prison to make her hate him so bad that she made a vow to never talk to him again. also in her room?? like she had to move rooms and chaser saying "it will never happen again" bro wtf happened. they did a whole 3 yr time skip not mentioning it too brahhh
i also feel bad for renag he seems like such a good guy :,(
the actress girl and hyeondo's relationship is actually a pretty good depiction of toxicity and attachment i'm shocked. i'm also shocked as hyeondo deadass stopped loving her and cut it clean off! most authors drag it out for fkn ever until the last 20 chapters lmao. he's in my top 5 list for sure.
also really like the aromantic representation here. it's fucked up how it got brought up but aye at least it exists u don't see much of that tbh
