I am kinda sad for Gareth... He was a little obsessive? Yes, but I can kinda get it. Violet was his first relationship and he thought she cheated on him with the guy he rly wanted to be friends with... that is the saddest part for me that he couldn't even tell Jack that he wanted to be his friend.
Also he had a lot more in common with the FL than Jack....

It could have constructed a really good poly relationship morr than "two guys love the same girl" because I lowkey believe that Gareth could have developed some feelings for Jack after their first meeting and how he liked him... that would make a lot of more sense for how obsessed he got with "getting back at Jack" thing

I don't know what bothers me... if it's the ML or the MC or just the author...
Everyone is saying that he is a green flag and I get that he is basically keeping this girl alive because se is only smoking and sleeping but hitting on someone that is this depressed does not sit right with me... also he got excited when she said that she was a virgin and when he showered her after she got a panic attack and ran off...
I don't think he is a bad guy just that the author couldn't write this story with the depth that it was needed...
Also I can't point if the author is a man or just a young and inexperienced woman... because the girl is not eating, not showering, just smoking and is absolutely beautiful, also she said that never had sex and proceeded to fuck a huge guy little prep and no pain.
I will not keep reading to know if it gets better or if I just have misconception about the characters
