i feel bad (im an empath huhu) but still, his fucked up life and sad backstory doesn't give him the right to treat doc dan like trash. He had the audacity to insult his status when in fact he came from that status too. He's still a jerk and nothing will erase that fact! I still don't like him and I hope (altho it's a losing hope) that Doc Dan doesn't just forgive him easily. I really want Doc Dan to find someone better who'll treat him right from the beginning.

His behavior made zero sense, he looked like he loved his son unconditionally in the beginning then turned around and beat the ever living shit out him for the rest of the story Dx
