Go Yunhee/Young Master (the cute looking bottom who has shiny golden eyes) and
Go Yuri (looks similar to Yunhee but has long hair and scar near left eye)
are half brothers and they belong to a cursed family who worship the Great Snake God.
The snake deity is a scary deity because those who worship this deity must remain in isolation from others to not incur this deity's wrath, that's why the worshipper is forbidden from engaging in secular world or getting married.
This manhua starts with the two important rules of worshipping the Snake Deity (and not get cursed by the Deity) ;
1. You must not tarnish the god.
2. The god must not be tarnished.
Lee Seojin and Go Yunhee stand together in an empty classroom in uniforms. Seojin appears to be holding a tape like object. And asking a variety of questions about the tape. Yunhee makes Seojin listen to it and the sound makes Seojin shiver..
We later get to know that the tape like object is actually a 'Goh'
In this chapter Yunhee notices a band aid on Seojin's forehead covered by hair which Seojin claims happened due to him falling off his bike and as Yunhee affectionately strokes Seojin's hair and asks him again who did it to him and promises him that those who did that to him will never be able to lay hands on him again and Seojin agrees with a right. And they get into a light squabble about it. It is revealed that these were actually past memories of Seojin.
In the present Seojin gets texts from a highschool classmate, Joo Eun Hae who has Terminal illness and wants to confess her unrequited feelings for Seojin by meeting him in front of a hospital.
Seojin agrees to meet her, and b4 meeting her we see him in a call with his younger bro Lee Seoyeon.
Seoyeon is living with his gf. The gf wants to get married soon so she insists to Seojin to marry first because he's the elder brother. It is clearly evident that Seojin doesn't like Seoyeon's gf that much.
Seojin doesn't recognise the girl Eun hae first but soon recognises her later. It is revealed that she's the pastor's daughter and she went to same highschool as Seojin. She had tons of plastic surgery in her early twenties.
Seojin notices that her personality has changed a lot since past.
She talks a lot about herself but when Seojin asks her about why exactly she called him, she says some cryptic words and commits suicide with a screw driver in her neck. Out of her hand, falls an object which looks like a tape.
Another flashback: Seojin's mom asks him to look after his brother well because he has a rare disease. It is also revealed that his mother prays a lot for Seoyeon.
As little Seojin falls asleep he makes a promise to his brother to always protect him.
The flashback ends here and we see adult Seojin in a hospital bed waking up from his brother Seoyeon's voice who came to visit him after hearing about the suicide of Eun Hae on news.
And Seojin explains to his brother that he passed out after he came home (after her suicide and then question ing by the police).
Seoyeon asks why Seojin has the tape like box surrounded by salt (It is worth mentioning that in many cultures it is believed that salt wards off evil)
Seojin tries pushing his brother away as he knew little bit about the curse and wanted his brother to not get cursed too.
Seojin goes to his friend Sora (probably a character who wards of evil spirit from author's another work called Sora's eyes) with the cursed box. And Sora explains that it's called 'Goh', which is filled with very powerful dark energy and is only possible to be opened by the creator of the box. And he ends this with saying that it's pretty obvious who made that goh.
Goh Yoon Hee of the House Of Serpents.
I'll write more later, currently I'm really hungry ;-;

Here's a fun fact about Korea and Korean ppl:
They HATE anyone who doesn't look like them...
Funnily enough they actually think that south Asians are trash.. Even though they'll look (many of them) literally the same as Koreans except a few facial features (cuz they're the same Mongolian race)
The only countries they've respect for as human beings are Japan, China, Malaysia (since the cold war)
Since the last decade their interest has been towards ppl from majority white countries like US, Russia etc..
But they still view ppl of other countries as 'ugly', 'poor' etc.

True. Look at how much BlackSwan k-pop group struggled in the beginning. And previously Alexandra (?) was treated even worse, borderline bullied by the agency imo. Now, I think they think of Blackswan as "exotic yet talented" but in the regular society, people of different races still face heavy discrimination.

Yup and funnily they only are fascinated by Russian, US etc. for their skin color, tall height, blonde hair, different eye color other than black,etc.
If an a person who's from US but doesn't fit their standards, they won't hesitate to bully them in even Little things. This is especially true for older ppl. Young generation at least is more accepting of other ppl (of different races)
But honestly I'll never get over the fact that Korea treats other races (even in k-pop industry)..
Even their very own agency bullies them alot. That industry is really messed up
Can anyone pls give me a recap of season 1?
I read this so long ago
