1. I don't believe that there was supposed to be any Chemistry at all.
It isn't supposed to be idk a bl or yaoi but more of a psychological thriller.

2 + 3. I agree, most of the side characters felt unescessary.

4. I believe the Author never actually wanted to go into detail but wanted us Reader's to figure out what was happening in "Paradise".
And i believe they actually delibered it pretty goood on what the Place is about.
Paradise is a place for Theo's pedophilic father's fantasies.
We can assume that his Father had also put his hands on Theo, since Theo never "escaped" Paradise after he was with Cedric.

True I partially agree with your point 1.. it's not exactly bl but still it felt weird af to see a younger brother so infatuated with his only family left the older brother.. we're never shown any of the brother's orientation at first so it was a little hard for me to grasp haha.. although the older brother was actually r*ped and idk if it's non con or r*pe cuz the older bro said something about it being his punishment and agreeing to it hah

6. The mother took her own life (why or how?)
7. Father actually loved his first son (Theo) to the point that he ended up actually wanted him to obey him in bed (?) Too
8. The ending, I really don't get it... Like what happened there.. I can guess a few things but it just feels like the author could've explained or given a little hint about Theory's life after..
9. How to control Theory, wasn't exactly explained in great deal, where Cedric snaps his fingers and Theo falls down I think it's in Ch 2

6. Well in Chapter 2 we can see that even while the mother was alive Paradise was already created, meaning she knew what her Husband was doing to those children, we can believe that she must have killed herself out of guilt.
But then you can also assume that she didn't actually commit suicide but that she might have been killed by her Husband, since he was smiling during her burial and she is trying, as a ghost, to be "free".
In Chapter 2 we also find out that she is trying to get Theo into a boarding school or a Kindergarten so that he can get away from "Paradise", most likely because she knows that the same could happen to her child.

Another intresting fact is that all the children we know of, brought into the house, had black hair; just like Theo and his mother. With the exception being the child who was with the boy in the room who took candy from Theo.

7 .+9. We know that Theo's Father had made Theo do multiple things other than sexual acts. For example killing the children, burying them and so on.
How do I know that? In the last few Chapters, we find out that Cedric starts doing the tasks that Theo was doing, after he finds the idk stuffed animal and his Father burying the body.
And we know that Theo was a child, meaning there must have been some kind of resistance, hesitation etc.
So most likely his Father "trained" Theo not to disobey (the finger snapping)
And because Theo gained a huge amount of Trauma, Cedric's finger snapping most have triggered that memory, making him activate his "muscle memory"

8. I feel like the ending was RUSHED, cause I was so confused why Theo is suddenly u know?
Especially that Theo still sees his mother after she was supposedly "free" . Maybe Theo is also just hallucinating in the end.... idk
