i reckon Honam doesnt know he wont remember shit and is being manipulated into becoming human, plus he probably knew about the fiancée but was going to reject it completely and didnt want uke to worry... i still got a little bit of respect but since he jumped to conclusions and accused uke of cheating that respect is dwindling

i dont wanna be ignorant, but i cant see the issue here about racism? could someone explain without getting mad at me please?

I see two raisons. Cannibalism, the people who have this practice consume human flesh during wartime, because of spiritual or survival beliefs. Here the reason is really weird for me. There is also the mosquito that can't bite him because his skin is too hard, it's not possible.
Also there are white characters with big lips like we see at the beginning of chapter 2. Personally I am black and having had horrible remarks about the size of my lips when I was little and seeing that, I must admit that I am not very comfortable. Certainly the main black character doesn't have big lips, they are 3 in all, the others have big lips and ... I don't understand this choice. why have drawn the lips like this and not do as with the little girl.

It’s not about racism, it’s about portraying black people as their stereotype. In the beginning when they all said “wakanda” that is a stereotype that had been created about black people and suggests that all blacks people come from “wakanda” even tho it’s a fictional place. And the stereotypical way the author draws black people, with overly sized lips and “monkey” way of acting. This story is just plain ignorant and rude tbh
haha i love the servant dude
emperor: "i cant show her affection"
dude: "with all due respect, why the fuck not?"
