Why are you even on a site dedicated to reading? I've come across this trend recently where people in comments will ask for the entire plot of a manhwa/manga without bothering to read it, and not because they don't understand the plot or anything like that, but because they want to know what happens before even getting into it themselves. I don't g......

I like the direction of this so much I also like that there's this underlying tension between the main characters despite the affectionate parts, it makes it a page turner for me wanting to see the culmination of all of these conflicting feelings.

I'm glad the rest of the extras go back to addressing more unresolved issues with the parents. The kid's cute, but there was really way too much baby fanservice for two or three extras straight, like I get it he's a chubby lil puppy but I want to know more about dad and dad and the entire family dynamic.

I get how Jaeha's flip flopping was really annoying to people, but it was a very nice characterization of human denial and burying one's head in the sand. I also think Hanjoon is right, Jaeha never said he would be lovers or wanted to be boyfriends, in that regard he was pretty honest that it was just for sex and a means to achieving escapism. Their connection was messy and full of harm self-inflicted and otherwise, but I love how it was illustrated and not hidden away, we get to see all the skeletons in the closet, which is refreshing.

A giant nothing-burger. Waiting for a plot twist, or for the seme to completely ruin things with his possessive clingy stupidity, but with the way Ilhoo is being a welcome mat for him my patience is waning.

Anyone who thought Hamin's first time with Sehyuk was going to be wholesome and fluffy is deluding themselves, their relationship is super slanted in power dynamic and Sehyuk always got his way despite Hamin's wants/needs, the extras don't surprise me in the slightest.

I'm not a fan of pushy third wheels in yaois so this chapter kinda gave me the ick. And for the record I am an old school yaoi connoisseur as well as an enjoyer of newer stuff, this type of casual butting in-dome is just annoying to me in characters.

What if NOTHING bad happens and they just fuck like crazy into the sunset? Or, or, or they plot to take over the kingdom together and ML ends up being emperor and MC his first concubine and then they fuck like crazy into the sunset? I'd get out my popcorn for either scenario tbh.

This is super simplified for anyone confused about the politics, basically the king's younger brother (official in purple garb heretofore known as Purple Man) who first comes to seek Heeryang out was concerned with the threat in the north and wanted to eliminate it, but was meeting opposition from politicians who were suspicious of his motivations. In order to secure the borders and do what he thought was best for the country, the Purple Man ordered Heeryang to eliminate the dissenting politician (MC's father if I'm not mistaken) in order to make the other politicians fall in line and agree to securing the borderlands.

After the campaign in the north succeeded and security was returned to the border, the border lords who are probably like feudal lords of fiefdoms a little like Japanese daimyos I imagine though maybe lesser ranked, being militaristic and survived on military campaigns and battles no longer had much purpose since there was not a great need for them. These border lords started raiding/pillaging the rural towns and basically started eating into their own nation's resources creating a new problem for Purple Man to try and solve. In order to squash this new problem Heeryang was employed to sow mistrust and fear among these lords so that they would start being suspicious of themselves and their compatriots turning their focus to in-fighting.

This is what I gather from the snippets shared. Feel free to correct any misunderstandings to help people get a clearer picture!

This story mostly takes place in seedy brothels, is about human trafficking, and touches on the criminal underworld, anyone expecting a fluffy story filled with consent is just an idiot.

I feel for Hanjoon, he's just come out of a relationship with someone who basically used him as a human comfort pillow and wasn't invested feelings-wise, granted he chose that for himself but I think he always expected Jaeha to reciprocate eventually. Now I can understand why he doesn't trust someone who is young and not exactly reliable (Jin), even though Jin seems to be earnestly pursuing him I don't see him as being genuinely invested and at this point I think Hanjoon is looking for long-term commitment.

I love how Mingwa is basically having fun experimenting with toxic tops at every opportunity in this title and people are having kittens over it.

Is it just me or did the pacing just stick a bunch of rocket fuel up its own ass and set itself on fire? Like the last couple chapters we have more hate-fucking then suddenly everything's coming together for an extremely rushed ending. Maybe it's just me, but it's like the author shined the Thundercats call and now everyone's charging in to save the day.

Hmm

TJ is just super destructive when it comes to Ian and I personally don't like that they're stuck together like magnets, but I get that they formed a bond because of what they went through and how long they've known each other as well as their gang affiliation, but they're not good for each other even if their intimate scenes seem to have more passion and chemistry. I think something bad's gonna happen to Ian, and perhaps Jo will be left picking up the pieces, who knows. There's also something up with Jo's development since it's shown that he comes from a background that suggests he had to conform to some sorta toxic masculinity standard going by his dad and the whole hunting thing, otherwise why bring up the revolver schtick. I dunno I have a feeling there'll be a significant twist coming up, at least that's what the story needs right now.
