Scanlation should stop once official TL is out. That's just the unwritten rule of scanlation. You either wait the series to finish and observe that no-one picks it up, or if the official has started, drop it.
Alternatively, you can just do a summary or written translation on the chapter. That wouldn't get you in trouble at all.
