"he's an asshole", yes he is and what does having no real friends have to do with why someone would hate him. if you've actually paid attention to the plot the way taehwan has been treating yeonwu is shitty and the homophobic acts and phrases he would say is disgusting. maybe you just dont understand what is morally wrong/bad.
he's only really been using Yeonwu as a, "Plaything" but he's slowly starting to have character development. Even after having intercourse with a male he still claims he's straight. That's why people are hating on his character!
