The story was so well written, I'm so happy to find this gem! I love the fact that she doesn't go back to the very beginning of time unlike most manhwa's with regret themes. Its great that we're seeing the reason behind a character's attitude and we both seeing the couples pov.

Mmmm, its not exactly to weird or surprising though, she is a young child who has only ever known that things are not deserving of her and that everything is take take take, this is most likely the very first present, or anything really, of any kind she has received from another human being, doesn't help that she is also very much confused mentally and emotionally, not understanding kindness or any positivity, she might unconsciously be using it as a sort of anchor or shield to keep her guarded or grounded, while for the boy she is clingy, but isn't most likely used to showing it, because i reckon that the slave children were never able to show any kind of enjoyment of any sorts so i bet if the "master" ever saw either one being close with another it would end in severe punishment or abuse, or one of them would be killed
This is mainly my theory though so i might be wrong and maybe it is weird, its just if you add the psychological horrors shes been through, the "training", and this extreme change to her life, its not to surprising to me

I wish this webtoon will be the next netflix original after love alarm. It have a very interesting story and I felt like Sohyun and Songkang can nailed this character, and finally become the end game. They resemble the characters so much!
