Seme cared more about MC than he really showed. I think he liked MC as more than just a sex friend, but didn't really 'realize' it himself. He went crazy looking for MC after he came back from Australia, but never found him till his friends saw MC working at that restaurant and let seme know. In ch 13, MC and seme actually talk and I think MC tells seme he doesn't just want to have sex with him in the previous ch bc he thought seme would leave him alone then? and seme is basically like okay then go out with me (as in dating) because if MC didn't just want to have sex with him it means he wants to go out with seme- guess we just have to date now okay LOL
MC asks him if he likes him, but seme doesn't say he likes him, but says he needs MC in his life basically and that he doesn't think that romantic feelings are essential in a relationship blah blah and something about how maybe they'll develop feelings during this time and maybe they won't I think in a way he just wanted closure for himself too. MC agrees because if things don't work out then at least he can finally say goodbye forever. THEN they go have consensual sex lol (ps next few ch (before 13), seme tries to have sex with MC, but MC starts crying and he backs the fuck off realizing he messed (︶︿︶)＝凸)
I actually think this story is pretty cute. I read the raws up to the ending (35) and MC definitely starts standing up for himself. Seme is just jealous and I think he really loves the MC, but he's in denial. Around ch 30 is when they finally get together for real :)
