I don't mind the age gap if it is a historical, early century story. Cause back in those days there were age gaps like those, and ain't no one was waiting for the kids to grow up. Atlease he did. Yall just like genetic boring stories. Go write your own.
I agree with you... The uke waited for the Khalid to grow up before they engage into adult stuff... what they had back when he's a little, I actually found that nothing but wholesome but for others, it's straightforwardly calling it pedo and grooming... Not realizing back in the day, early century, it's even more worse actually.

Let’s not use the term waited bc that’s just wrong, he didn’t wait. They were seperated and he didn’t even know ML was alive. same for ML he did not know MC was alive. When they met again they were essentially strangers to one another. There was no “waiting” involved. By saying waiting yall are making it sound worse than it actually is.

Use your context love. When we say waited, we mean ye didn't engage with him until he was an adult. We shouldn't have to explain everything word for word for you to get it.

They literally said “ The uke waited for the Khalid to grow up before they engage into adult stuff” like… again, waited isn’t the correct term to use in this situation. There was no waiting to “engage in adult stuff” because MC had thought ML died, he wasn’t waiting for him. There was no waiting. To say he “waited until doing adult stuff” is to imply he waited until ML grew up before they were engaging in sex. Which isn’t what happened, and THAT scenario would be grooming (waiting until someone is an adult to have sex) what happened was that they were separated for near a decade not knowing the other was alive and thinking they were both dead. And then meeting again as adults. It’s a VERY different scenario from “waiting” as waiting implies they knew they were gonna see each other again (which they did not) and were waiting for a specific moment (again which they were not). The way you use these terms in the contexts you use them can very easily twist the meaning of the story and change the tone of it.

Sis you ain't got a job? That's a lot to read lol.
This story is not just slow, it's boring. Like the pace is terrible. I've read slow stories but you need to figure out what it's slow with while also progressing. Say ok, the romance will come later a few100 chapters down, but continue something. Oh my fucking gosh.
Bro is so traumatized he assumed the whole thing was funny and lighthearted. While she erased the entire thing. It's interesting to see how two people experiencing the same trauma could cope in different ways.
