But honestly Sota is getting off to easy. Like if I was Momoka that would be it for our friendship. You know that I'm in a happy relationship with my so yet you still do that. Agreed, Wendy was ever so slightly taken advantage of but Aiden was just as much so. Wendy even admitted it herself in Chap 1, that she took advantage of him and that her mistakes should be atoned for.
Sorry but no. Aiden wasn't really taken advantage of as he was sober and could definitely have stopped her. You can see he wanted to keep goung as he was the one who continued things. Yes, her kissing him and coming on to him to begin with was wrong but she was not the one who initiated more.
Also, quiting can be that easy if you make it that easy. She can make money by doing other jobs, though I dont know if they mentioned anything about currency yet or if they even get paid. Of course quiting, you would have to take the proper steps as to not inconvenience others, but quiting is always on the table if it's something you want to do.
Lastly, she clearly doesn't want to sell her life away because a mistake that is not entirely her fault. It said that if you break a promise then you lose a considerable amount of mana which she doesnt want to happen. She is basically being blackmailed into continuing a relationship with Aiden because she doesnt want to lose something that is important to her.
So no I dont think it immature to quit in this situation. I actually think it the harder desicion to make. I would rather lose an important part of myself than be forced to do something I dont want to do even if it's hard to do.
