Huh. I just noticed how much of a bigshot Clete is. Like she has her own castle where the emperor and empress cannot enter without her permission. That in itself says a lot. And the fact that she can just ignore the emperor's hand like that. AND lets not forget the fact that she didnt even bow when she first saw him.
Well I mean she has been alive since the founding of the empire so that itself says a lot she's also immortal and a powerhouse that even the imperial family depends on for various things so it makes sense. She's the best magician in the land and the empire wouldn't function correctly without her.
