Ahhh would 10/10 play an otome game as the villainess trying to redeem herself.
I think that would be an awesome game because like Penelope here, her "wrong" choices bears more weight because of he past wrong actions. As oppose to a heroine whose wrong choices can only mean not developing the relationship with the capture targets, the "wrong" choices of the villainess has a bigger burden attached because it may mean that she still isnt developing a s a character. The villainess route has a risky redemption arc hoing on as opposed to a clean slate.

On one hand her reaction is pretty realistic in comparison to other novel where modern day MC is transported to a war torn era. I mean any normal person seeing a parade of murdered bodies would freak out and think that they wanna be back in the safety of their own homes.
On another hand, war, death, brutality still exist in the modern world and in any scenario that sucks
