Ahh thanks for the uploads! Its always good to see the progress of the story. I almost forgot for a bit that they met because of a stalker. Now we see the stalker can hire expensive guards. Still hoping that their just a harmless fangirl/boy tho and not some menacing pervert. Tho honestly with the way their tracking tak moo yi, theyre already scary.

To start off, I dont side with her BUT in a wayyyyy I kind of get where she's coming from. She wants to protect the family. Not necessarily Alejandro but just making sure that the Del Laviti family prospers.
On paper, Ibelina can offer nothing, her being just a commoner. She has no title nor is she rich. And at a time where marriage is more often done for political reasons, a Duke marrying a commoner just makes as much sense as an archeologist digging with a teaspoon.
I dont think she's a bad person (so far she hasnt done anything that I can consider foul play). She doesn't blame Ibelina for Alejandro's actions nor did she ever came between them before even if the butlers were telling her to.
She understand that Alejandro is attached to Ibelina but now that he's grown up and the head of the household, and seeing that his feelings towards Ibelina is growing despite her warnings that Ibelina should try her best not to encourage it, she took action. And since she cant obviously speak to Alejandro who is clearly possessive of Ibelina, she talks to te more rational one of the two.
If anything, I just think shes doing what she think is right for the Del Laviti family so I cant honestly say shes a bad person because at the very least, she doesnt seem motivated by self interest unlike all the other assholes in this story.

She certainly don't seem bad, but like you said she think about the family, which by itself is wrong. It would be like trying to repair a TV by looking at it's exterior while it's a a component inside that need fixing. It's more or less what she's doing, she looking at the family as a whole when it's Alejandro the individual that need fixing. And it's not by sending away Ibelina which is pretty much who is keeping him in line, that it would do anything good for the family.

I agree with you. I think its fair to argue at this point that Alejandro IS the family so his development would be the family's development.
We can never discount how much Alejandro depends on Ibelina for emotional support and I think that is where the problem lies.
No matter how you look at it, there are two paths towards his growth as a Duke
1. Follow his heart and marry Ibelina and live with his first love
Or
2. Follow his head and eventually, marry a noble, and live in power and security
Both options aren't necessarily bad and theres nothing wrong with picking either or.
To Lady Elaine, the 2nd option is the clear choice. I think she believes herself to be like a parent taking away Alejandros favorite blanket. Not fun but hopefully you'll grow out of the attachment.
Personally I would have preferred her to let Ale decide but i think we all know why he wasnt given that didnt happen.
In any case, I hope this becomes a chance for Ales emotional growth.

i feel like right and wrong is subjective though.
it's based on the culture of your society and what are those societal norm at that specific time.
in modern time, putting the individual first might be more important.
but back then, it might be a totally different thing.
Also...
what if she is trying to fix Ale,
you mentioned that Ibee is keeping him in line, i think the head maid see this as him being too depend on a "mere maid". and what is most beneficial to him is marrying a rich noble woman.
and she's not forcing Ibee, shes giving her a choice.
Great. Now I want hamburger steak. Thanks for the craving.
