I noticed most Yaoi have a chapter limit of 6-7 and then extras. Is this how their contracts usually go? It would explain how some storylines are rushed.
Unless you make it big like Viewfinder, Junjou Romantica, Super Lovers, etc. It seems you can do whatever the heck you want after you get super popular.
Most are just single volume stories. It's why I get so frustrated when people are like "waaaaaaaaah why was the story so rushed???" Yaoi is still a growing genre so most artists only do short stories.
